THE GREAT SONG CYCLE

On August 3rd, 2016 Joanna embarked on what, in that moment, was an unknown adventure ahead. Setting forth on a solo concert tour is always a fun challenge, with ups and downs, exhaustion and exhilaration. But doing a solo concert tour by bicycle, when the only way you are going to reach the venue in time is by the sheer power of your own body and mind is another level. This is exactly what Joanna set out to do, starting in Portland, Oregon and ending in Santa Monica, LA, 1,200 miles south. She gave herself six weeks to traverse the west coast of the USA, and sixteen shows to perform along the way.
