During high school, Joanna couldn't choose between her two loves: music and art, or whether to go on and study music or painting. She decided to do a four year bachelor in fine art at Central Saint Martins, London, as the school was situated in Soho, just two blocks away from the infamous jazz club, Ronnie Scott's. Joanna would paint by day, and sing by night. Although music eventually took over as her main focus, she has never lost her love for painting and bringing life onto the page with the alchemy of pigment, brush, and water.
